Growing up, I spent hours in the kitchen with my mother who was an amazing cook. She was able to combine culinary influnences and inspiration from India and Africa to create the most flavorful and aromatic dishes, often from simple ingredients and spices.
I was most fortunate to have been able to learn her skills and techniques which I not only use in my own daily cooking but also to create fusion dishes from around the world.
When I am at home, any spare time I have is mostly spent in the kitchen to create and refine recipes to make them tasty and appealing for a vegetarian diet.
