Perfect light and elegant ending to a dinner party!
1-pint heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup powder sugar
1/2 cup boiling water
2 tablespoon instant coffee
2 tablespoon sugar
10 Graham Crackers (Break each in 4 pieces)
Cocoa powder (or shaved chocolate)
Take the ¼ cup boiling water in a glass bowl, add instant coffee and sugar. Mix till dissolved and set aside to cool.
Take a chilled glass or steel bowl and whip the cream and powder sugar till it forms firm peaks. Keep in the fridge till you are ready to assemble.
Take 8 martini glasses.
Take the first glass. Dip one strip of cracker in the coffee mixture. Set it quickly in the martini glass. Repeat dipping three more pieces so you end up with four strips set from center to edge of each glass. Repeat the process for all the 8 glasses.
Remove the whipped cream from the fridge. Add 2 tablespoon of the coffee mixture in the whipped cream and mix gently.
Take one heaped tablespoon of the cream and drop it in the center above the dipped crackers in each glass. Repeat for all 8 glasses.
Next, take the remainder 8 pieces of cracker. Dip one strip, dip it in the coffee mixture and set it in the center above the whipped cream in each glass. Repeat for all 8 glasses.
Finish with 2 tablespoon of the cream above the cracker in each glass.
Sprinkle the cocoa powder over the cream.
Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
You can present the tiramisu in dessert bowls and top with shaved chocolate instead of cocoa powder.
